10 years ago, my brother and I printed a t-shirt to protest the dismantling of teachers’ unions in our home state of Wisconsin. We didn’t have equipment or experience, but we had an idea for a design that we wanted to share. With a homemade wooden press and a tub of purple ink, the first chapter of Half A Degree’s story was written. 

 

Ledger Designs is the next chapter. With our newest collection, we’ve refocused the drive and energy that pushed us to create our very first design. Throughout our years in Madison, we’ve utilized our art and design to help amplify the voices of other local artists, businesses, movements and musicians in our community. We’re going to continue to use our platform to tell the stories that need to be told—to speak truth to power, and to use art as our quill.
